Fresh collaborations that continue to shape the world of interiors...
Is it me or does it seem like everyone is suddenly in the home business? In truth, collaborations have been a staple of the interior design world ever since Coco Chanel commissioned the famous French interior designer Jean-Michel Frank to design custom furniture for her Paris apartment in the 1920s (um, yes, I had to look this up). Since then, collaborations have emerged as a highly-anticipated avenue for consumers who have a passion for both interiors and fashion, as well as an ever-popular vehicle for brands to team up, branch out, and test new waters. The primary question obviously is, will one creative’s ideas and interpretations translate to the world of interiors? Here are a noted few collabs (fashion or otherwise) I’ve had my eye on lately.
Harbinger L.A. x Sharland England
Joe Lucas’ showroom on La Cienega has long been a mainstay for interior designers, a place to discover curated pieces with a certain je ne sais quois. You can always find the perfect piece for a project or simply get a healthy dose of inspiration. Louise Roe, a former Vogue stylist, burst onto the interiors scene since she renovated her Georgian farmhouse in the English countryside, taking us along for the ride through her gorgeous Instagram, and founding her company Sharland England. Now available through a partnership with Harbinger L.A., Sharland England’s unique rattan pieces include one of my favorite accessories, the Pimlico Bamboo Side Table. Sharland England’s timeless style mixes both old and new and offers signature selections that are made to last and meant to be enjoyed.

Schoolhouse x Clare V.
Anyone who knows me knows I have a few Clare V. bags ~ they are just so easy to carry, chic, and last (+last!) so of course I was curious when I saw she partnered with Schoolhouse. I’ve used Schoolhouse in my own home and on projects throughout the years - their hardware, lighting, and bar stools are especially good for the final tweaks that give a room a little bump up in style - and I found a couple of items from the Clare V. collection that would do the same: namely the Hans Task Lamp and the Fernand Circle Mirror.

Sugar Paper for Wallshoppe
Our favorite stationers are now the creators of wallpaper and fabrics, courtesy of Wallshoppe. If you’re unfamiliar with Wallshoppe, watch yourself - you could easily spend an exorbitant amount of time on their site dreaming up ways to bedeck all of your walls. It’s a fun rabbit hole though, and the collaboration with Sugar Paper is just what you’d expect - sweet prints in a variety of colorways including their signature colors of French blue, pink, black and white. The selection is comprehensive and the best part? They offer both large and small scales in many of their prints.

Cloth & Company x (everyone)
Cloth & Company is a true pioneer in the world of interiors, being the first to design, print, and upholster in-house in a matter of days, all through an environmentally-friendly process. Their collaborations with John Robshaw, Gray Malin, Rifle Paper Co. and Stoffer Home (to name a few) yield beautiful furniture infused with a style that is truly unique to their process (and partners).

A few more …
A few more collaborations worth noting are: Weezie Towels x Liberty; Astier de Villate’s candle collection with Takasago via Nickey Kehoe; GP & J Baker x Pooky for the prettiest lampshades; and Ariel Okin x Mitzi for the perfect accent lamp.
Enjoy the week ahead and as always, thank you for reading!
