Our client’s spindle chairs just needed new fabric and a little pop of color to give them new life.

We’d talked about switching them out for swivels but in the grand scheme of things they’re solid chairs with a lot of years in them and their scale is perfect for the room. Now recovered in a modern wave fabric and a lush green velvet, they bring a little oomph to the space (& hopefully a lot of joy!). 💚

These antique chairs just needed a little repair, refinishing + recovering to bring them back to life. We added a couple of custom pillows for the sofa in a wave fabric from @kravetinc to tie it all together and brighten up the room. 🩵💛 🌊

Known as “A place of history, hospitality, and diplomacy in the California desert”, Sunnylands is a famous midcentury modern home built in 1966 for Ambassadors Walter and Leonore Annenberg, who welcomed entertainment and world leaders with an unmatched reputation for elegant hospitality.

Anne Rowe, Sunnylands’ Director of Heritage, is the Guest Lecturer at the @decorativeartssociety lecture on 11.12.24 and will be speaking about Sunnylands’ interior designer William Haines. Featured in a current exhibition, “Haines’ style of décor, known as Hollywood Regency, reflected silver-screen glamour —through a vibrant mix of colors, textures, patterns, and finishes — with references to interior design of the 19th-century English Regency period.”
