What do I love about being an interior designer?

I love sourcing beautiful objects like these vintage sunburst mirrors I discovered in one of the prettiest antique stores in the country ~ English Accent Antiques in Atlanta.

Have you been to Sunnylands? Me either, but it’s on my list...

Known as “A place of history, hospitality, and diplomacy in the California desert”, Sunnylands is a famous midcentury modern home built in 1966 for Ambassadors Walter and Leonore Annenberg, who welcomed entertainment and world leaders with an unmatched reputation for elegant hospitality.

Anne Rowe, Sunnylands’ Director of Heritage, is the Guest Lecturer at the @decorativeartssociety lecture on 11.12.24 and will be speaking about Sunnylands’ interior designer William Haines. Featured in a current exhibition, “Haines’ style of décor, known as Hollywood Regency, reflected silver-screen glamour —through a vibrant mix of colors, textures, patterns, and finishes — with references to interior design of the 19th-century English Regency period.”
